“Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi,” National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told Yahoo News by email.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did not Obama say at one time, that he wasn’t aware of any requests for help? This statement by the aide, makes it clear, he did in fact know about them. If he did not know, how could he “not” deny them.
