If I remember correctly Powell more or less said he was supporting obama in 2008 because he was black.
I never liked Powell. And I never liked Condi Rice. Those two appointments showed Bush’s true left leanings. Though he call it “compassionate conservative”.
Condi was being pretty easy on the State Dept over the Benghazi attack. It was disgusting.
