Rush military caller says beyond shadow of doubt Obama knew about Benghazi attack and ordered no response

He told Rush that protocol dictates that as soon as the situation room got the email about the Benghazi attack, someone marched up to the president and informed him of the attack. He also says that it was the president who gave the order at his 5pm meeting that day to not respond to the Libya attack in progress.

I totally agree with the caller. Obama knew what was going on and he did in fact lie about what he knew and when he knew it. The Lt Col is right on, and this needs to get out.
the assumption that Obama actualy attended these briefs is just that, an assumption.
This man probably created such a cocoon around himself that information like this couldn’t penetrate. He is known as “no drama” and the last thing he needs to hear is some old white gay guy in Libya might be in trouble. I seriously think that none of the information ever made it to him either because his handlers like Valerie and Axlerod would not allow it, or the staff has learned to work around him and no one else could initiate the military action.
Donald Rumsfeld basically said the same thing yesterday.
The Lt. Col. states that these operations are usually a 50/50 proposition. High risk. Not clear how many enemies are on the ground or how well armed.
The two CIA operatives nearby were told THREE TIMES to stand down. They went anyway. Whole ordeal was 7 hours and troops could have been there 4-5 hours tops - but none were ever sent.
White House situation had the info and would have gone straight to POTUS for a decision. Decision was made NOT to intervene and risk failure.
Don’t need any other conspiracies (kidnapping, gun running etc.) to explain it. This is bad enough and seems like a decision a politician would make.

Panetta: “Mr. President?”
Obama: “Valerie?”
Valerie Jarrett: “The President feels direct action in Libya wouldn’t be prudent and regrets that he has to deny your request.”
It was chilling, passionate, professional testimony. I was impressed with the wealth of knowledge as I always am with our military. You got the sense it could have all been avoided and our guys were “chomping at the bit” to get it done.
I for one, am more infuriated than I was when the story broke. Obama’s non-response was political. I hope the Frankenstorm dies down so this story can get some attention.

Thanks for posting this. Incredible. I still believe there is much more to this than Obama just wanting to avoid the Jimmy Carter mistake. There are too many other dots that need connecting.

Except it wasn’t the emails...it was another separate alert that is made instantly on Top Secret channels when an Ambassador is in peril. Protocol dictates it is immediately relayed to TOTUS.

Incredible call. What I heard, and correct me if I’m wrong, that absent a direct no-go order from POTUS, they would have rescued these guys given their standing orders. Is he concluding that no one but Obama would have cancelled a rescue mission? If Obama did refuse to order any rescue, wouldn’t someone in his administration by now be willing to give up his career to get the truth out? There are a lot of players who would have been witness to this travesty -— no one among them is brave enough?

I knew when I listened to it in real time this was bomb shell material.

Also interesting what he said about the units that are ready to go at a moment’s notice. That stinking SOB McCain is running around today spreading the lie that the military wasn’t on alert so wasn’t available to respond.
