Go on and be happy in what YOU belive. Let others do the same...Good for you...good for them...Life sure is damn short. Why not just make those close to ya happy and them you? Think ‘bout that some...

Perhaps you should think about what utter nonsense you just wrote:

That happiness is somehow linked to anything anyone wants to believe...doesn't matter what that might be...

That nobody's beliefs should be subject to exposition of what others believe...as if you think Madison Avenue and the NY Times and Jehovah's Witnesses would suddenly stop injecting their worldviews into daily life???

Besides, if you really believed that nonsense, you'd buy into this sermon yourself...

What do I mean by that...?

Well, for starters, you might read Elsie's comments, and then perhaps inwardly respond...and then say to Elsie:

Go on, Elsie, and be happy in what YOU beli[e]ve. Certainly, Elsie, I'll let you do the same...and won't even give you a tinge of negative feedback on your religious expressions. Good for you, Elsie, on what you believe -- including what you believe about Mormons -- and that you've critiqued Mormonism...good for them -- the Mormons -- that they're being critiqued...Hmm...Why don't I just make those close to me happy -- vs. spending ANYTIME at all on FR (or elsewhere online) commenting to others beyond them? Perhaps I should embrace my preachings, after all...and start practing them vs. just preaching them to others...

Obviously, NYTexan, your post is a conglomeration of religious hypocrisy and inconsistency: If you TRULY believed in a live and let live philosophy, you wouldn't be frowning at all upon Elsie's comments and beliefs and expression of those beliefs.

If you TRULY believed that your own comments should stay within your "close ones" "ballpark," you wouldn't have given Elsie a mini-sermon exposing your distinct views.

Think about all this A LOT...and then repent!

Oh, this is so priceless. I got banned for almost a year (for being a Mormon) and what has changed? Not much. Anti MormonISM folk are still condemning to hell everyone who don’t/doesn’t believe exactly as they believe. Good thing Jesus Christ is our Judge. Jesus is so wonderful; He suffered and died for me, too - a Mormon.
