You’re right....They’ll say they couldn’t go out because they couldn’t afford rubbers.
IF the storm has to hit then hopefully it can wait until Nov 6th. I’m believing Romney voters are not going to let a mere hurricane stop them from getting to the polls.
I feel RR supportes will risk hell and high water to get this POS out of office.
I dont think wish-washy Dems have the same resolve.
;-)
Ahhhh....What do we have here?? A Trojan horse??
I’ll be flying into DC on Monday. Looks like I’ll be getting there at about the same time as the hurricane.
Silvie, early voting in MD starts this Saturday so the storm shouldn’t matter as far as voting goes.
Thank you. A close friend lost her husband last year in the aftermath of Irene.
I can't and won't wish this kind of storm on my worst enemy - and I live on the coast in Virginia.
Odd that a hurricane threatened the GOP convention, and now one threatening the election. The only major hurricanes of the year. Just sayin.
I’ll walk, too. And my town uses paper ballots.
Will “The One” use a super storm to illegally declare a postponement in the election? If he did, would the masses riot if the congress and supreme court declared his declaration illegal?
I live in Central NY State. They’re saying Sandy will likely play a role in our weather by Monday and Tuesday, bringing rainfall and gusty winds. We’re used to having bad weather, even heavy snow for Halloween here. They’re calling for rain
here from Saturday through Wednesday with winds Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday, they’re calling for partly cloudy, with some rain. Since the bad weather is next week, shouldn’t it be over with by the time election day rolls around the weekend after?
Turnout in Philly might drop from 110% to under 100..
That’s why I added the caveat that the Supreme Ct and Congress rule it illegal. Think about the moral/ethical values of his constituency. Riots!
“I can’t and won’t wish this kind of storm on my worst enemy - and I live on the coast in Virginia.”
I do not share that sentiment if said storm interferes with the New Black Pampers appearance at polling places in any way, shape or form.
If it interferes with them - it will also interfere with those they wish to intimidate.
I’m in Northern Virginia. It looks as if it’s only going to clip us here- but I will be voting, if I have to go to the polls crawling up the street driving pitons and using an ice axe.
