NAS Sigonella on Sicily is 500 miles from Bengazi and the AC130 cruises at 300 mph —they could have made it in 1.5 hrs. There were also F18’s there that could have arrived in 20 minutes.
There was also a SF quick reaction force —a large one— all geared up with helicopter rotars turning there on the ground at Sigonella, awaiting orders.
They begged to launch but the orders never came and they just sat on the tarmac while our people died.
That alone is a scandal. Much worse than any domestic or foreign surprise the Obamanoids could spring.

Is this true? If so, bears repeating, and repeating, and repeating . . . looks like neither Hillary Clinton nor Hussein Obama are capable of taking those “3:00 a.m. phone calls”.
Last evening, 3 former CIA or FBI men were on a Fox show and they detailed that the fight in Benghazi went on for 8 hours and how we could have sent help which sounded like we could have saved our people. Also, if I heard correctly, a drone was flying over the area where the attack was happening. This is infuriating!
During Congressional hearing, the State Dept woman said she was on the phone with people in Benghazi while the attack was taking place. WHO would not authorize sending help??
