There are probably more injuries in soccer than in football. The knees and ankles are by far the more sensitive of joints in the body and repeatedly being tackled coupled with the lengthy games with little pauses leads to alot of exhaustion (to the extent that some players have had heart attacks on the field) and leg breaking, or more frequently torn muscles/tendons.
People like to joke that its a prissy sport but it does have alot of contact and injuries.
Yes you’re right, but the perception is that football is more dangerous.
I recently got hooked on Gaelic Football, combines all of the best aspects of Football, Rugby and Soccer. Sort of like Aussie Rules, but I think the Irish game flows better.
