They have been getting away with lying for 4 years. They have gotten away with it because the main stream media has not held them to account for it. A perfect example of this is "Fast and Furious." In effect we declared war on Mexico by sending thousands of rifles and arms to Mexico without the knowledge or permission of Mexico.
The only reason they are not getting away with it this time is the real time footage from the burning and the real time footage of the ambassadors almost dead body being dragged out of the consulate. In addition the election has drawn attention to this.
In Fast in Furious hundreds have died in Mexico and border patrol agents or agent have died here in the United States. This is a scandal far greater than the current Benghazi scandal. They got away with Fast and Furious and thought they could get away with Benghazi-Gate
