Because everyone had such a great time at the last shoot we are anxious for the next one.
The date for the 8th Annual TCMS shoot will be June 8th, 2013 and will be held at Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting Range, in New Braunfels, TX. Providing we get the OK from Mr. Dietz – I will call him this week to discuss our coming to the range.
Staying in the Pelican Bay cottages this year was a stroke of genius, so we will again be staying in cottages. The cottage pick for this shoot is the Cypress Creek Cottages, in Wimberley, TX. There are only twelve cottages at this place, and as of this writing 7 of them have been reserved. NOTE: They require full payment at the time the reservations are made. Wimberley also has some very nice hotels in the area in the event all the cottages get rented.
Making it a three & a half day weekend will be the plans for many of us, that way we can enjoy the area and have lots of porch time.
The Friday night dinner & Saturday breakfast places have not yet been decided. There is still plenty of time to figure out those details. Saturday after the shoot lunch will be provided by our own chef ~ cpdiii (Thanks Charlie!). Suggestions for the Saturday night meal are more than welcome.

If I can make it work, we’ll be there. It’s for the most part, an engineering timeline thing, and being senior engineer, it comes down to convincing a junior engineer that he/she can risk their reputation as easily as any crazy old fart who still carries a library card.

Reservations have been made at Milagro’s Tex-Mex Restaurant ~ http://www.milagroshillcountry.com/ ~ for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6th. Please let me know if you are going to join us for dinner so that I can give the restaurant an accurate number.
You still have two months to make your cottage reservation ~ there are three still available. If FReepers rent those three we can have access to the common area for free, otherwise we will be meeting, cooking & eating in the cottages that are on the river side.
