Because everyone had such a great time at the last shoot we are anxious for the next one.
The date for the 8th Annual TCMS shoot will be June 8th, 2013 and will be held at Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting Range, in New Braunfels, TX. Providing we get the OK from Mr. Dietz – I will call him this week to discuss our coming to the range.
Staying in the Pelican Bay cottages this year was a stroke of genius, so we will again be staying in cottages. The cottage pick for this shoot is the Cypress Creek Cottages, in Wimberley, TX. There are only twelve cottages at this place, and as of this writing 7 of them have been reserved. NOTE: They require full payment at the time the reservations are made. Wimberley also has some very nice hotels in the area in the event all the cottages get rented.
Making it a three & a half day weekend will be the plans for many of us, that way we can enjoy the area and have lots of porch time.
The Friday night dinner & Saturday breakfast places have not yet been decided. There is still plenty of time to figure out those details. Saturday after the shoot lunch will be provided by our own chef ~ cpdiii (Thanks Charlie!). Suggestions for the Saturday night meal are more than welcome.

I used to live very close to Canyon Lake - I could see it from my from porch. It’s a beautiful area, lots to do.

I am gonna save you a seat just in case you can come last minute. Buckeye, you can bring your hubby too. Just let me know. We can go a little early if ya’ll want to and walk through the barns before the show.

Thanks for the report! I can hardly wait! Gonna be ready to let lose after all the wedding stuff. We need a target that says ‘wedding planner’, so I can have a little fun....lol. Do most wedding planners practice at being a insufferable snob or does it just come naturally? LOL!

I love the hill country. There were several times this past weekend that I almost ran off the road because I was admiring the scenery.
I thought wedding planners were supposed to make your life easier.

Canyon Lake is beautiful ... and there are no Russians, thankfully. Heh. But IF THERE WERE, we could take ‘em out at the shoot.
Oh, they practice it. They read Miss Manners to find out all of the things that will offend other snobs but don’t matter to the rest of us. Then they run around telling us why everything we like/want is improper or potentially offensive ... to them ... and then they blame it on the bride.
Indeed, it is truly beautiful and very relaxing. And the people are mostly not pretentious.
