The problem is, a whole segment of the population has been raised, trained, and indoctrinated to believe that it IS in fact guaranteed.
It starts with “We Don’t Keep Score at this level”, and moves on to “Everybody dump your school supplies into this big, common box here”, and then to “Did you bring enough of that for EVERYBODY? No? Then you can’t have it either...”
They’re teaching our kids to be good little collectivists right under our noses, and most of the folks aren’t paying attention.
