Welcome aboard Darth!
Enjoyed meeting you all and can’t wait for next year’s shoot!!
Welcome, Darth!!....and it was soooo good to see you guys again! We went through LaGrange, too, but waited to eat at the Health Camp on the infamous traffic circle in Waco. Best. Burger. Ever (except maybe for Wattsburger in Odessa! LOL)
San Marcos is awesome too!! I love floating in those cool clear hill country rivers! Snorkeling in them is fun too. Especially San Marcos.
Didja have a Blue Hawaiian shake?
They are yummy.
Burger! Burger!!
The fries rocked too. The malt shake was a let down, but an amazing burger and atmosphere.
Outstanding roadhouse
We are on the same page.
Hi Peanut and PE! It was great to meet you two lovely people and your bright young’uns.
Bryan and I had a great time at the Shoot, before, during, and after, thanks to the whole group.
A nicer bunch of people we’ve never known.
We’re in Kentucky, but we’ll be home by tomorrow afternoon, God willing.
Did ya’ll see New Orleans?
Justa taste?
No, darn it! Wish we’d had this conversation before we went there! LOL,
I was hoping you’d post that! It did rock out loud!
Godspeed!
I picked that pic off the web, and it is the Waco Health Camp.
Still, I thought it rocked.
I’ll post some pics from the trip when I get the opportunity.
Gnight.
Good road trip.
No, actually. We made another stop at a friend’s house and ran out of time. We drove a straight route toward home after that. Seeing our friend was more than worth it, though. Maybe next time...?
It’s a big world, all that matters is that you enjoy it.
Thank you, my dear. God bless you as well.
Gee, you’re a sweetie as well as a cutie pie! And you’re right, too.
Bedtime for Bonzo
‘Night, my friend.
No more monkeyshines for you tonight!
Posted in the wrong thread, but we have arrived at our motel in Tombstone. It is a musty, run down, old fifties style motel with a tiny bathroom almost big enough to turn around in. I love it, but Sheila is mad enough to ring my neck. The one good thing about it is the front step is very small. Does not require a makeshift ramp. We can just bump over it. They have already rolled up the sidewalks here, so we are going to have to drive over to Benson for a late dinner.
That was awesome. Thanks for the Ping!
