Anybody who has ever been in a singles bar at closing time ought to have a little sympathy for Mitt Romney?s Republican supporters right about now.
After all, we all know what it?s like.
You?ve spent hours in the comforting, carefully orchestrated shadows of the bar, nursing both an overpriced drink and that anxious sense of expectation that maybe this time you?ll get lucky. And then, all of a sudden the bartender switches the lights on, and all those lusty illusions are vaporized in a frigid, fluorescent blast of reality.
Last week, when a secretly made tape surfaced in which Mitt Romney appeared to tell donors at a $50,000-a-plate dinner in May that nearly half of all Americans were essentially unmotivated slackers angling to live off government handouts, the bartender turned on the lights.

AS far as the drive by media is concerned, if Romney says it, it’s a gaffe.
Romney is tied in credible polls, even with the Dem oversampling. Romney is ahead after the polls are unskewed. I don’t see the gaffes, other than in Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmm).
who is seamus Mcgraw?
Seamus McGraw is a freelance journalist who has contributed to dozens of publications, including The New York Times, Playboy, The Forward, and Readers’ Digest. He is the author of “The End of Country: Dispatches from the Frack Zone.”
Since when did facts become lies? Oh, wait. In 2008 lies became the correct way of thinking. I understand.
In the eyes of leftist scribbler like McGraw, anything uttered by a Republican constitutes a gaffe. By the way, McGraw characterized Obama as being pragmatic.
We have never experienced a more corrupt media in the US than now. They will not hesitate in their attempts to destroy anyone who might tell the truth or shed light on their agenda. I, personally, as of today, am going to boycott all media..I will go vote and that is it. I am sick of FOX trying to be “fair and balanced” when the other side is practicing deceit and corruption. The Polls cannot be believed..They are simply fortune telling at this point. Only stupid people will determine whether or not they vote based on fraudulent polls. May God have mercy on America. Christians might read the book of James, the brother of Jesus, for insight into the importance of taking care of those who were persecuted because of their beliefs..Their property was confiscated and they scattered from their homes. Of course, in the end that only spread the gospel, but, in the short term, the widows and orphans, especially needed assistance. James was executed for his beliefs. That is, unfortunately, the end game of tyranny. I grieve to know that so many of our folks will vote on emotion, not knowledge, or wisdom and they run to vote to enslave the future of their children through what is sure to be a short term gain.
Just like they insisted Palin was unfit to be vice president when in fact it was Joe Biden.
There is nothing different here than what happened in 2008. It’s just Romney is seasoned enough to give the Teflon response.
That’s why everybody buys it, for the articles, right?
Mr. niteowl77
0bumble’s latest gaffe, “bumps in the road,” one of so many, is more egregious than all of Romney’s so-called gaffes put together. Since nobody can be perfect, critics, especially Republican ones, should get off of Romney’s back. They only help The Bamster.
OMG!! The MSM do NOTHING but jump on OBAMA”S GAFFES. I call them the “GAFFE GRENADE GANG”!
Does he even realize that for almost 4 years now, he’s been being sodomized by Zero AND his Party?!
