Ahmed Boukhatala didn't look like a wanted man, sipping mango juice across the table from me in a Benghazi hotel. Dressed in a crisp white robe, a long grey beard on his face, Boukhatala was happy to share his fundamentalist Islamic beliefs.

He calmly denied having anything to do with the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate which killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

"But the President himself, Mohammed Magariaf, told us you were one of the prime suspects," I told him. He just smiled. "If that's what the President is saying," replied Boukhatala, "then he should come to my house and arrest me." But that's something government security forces dare not do. …

I have a feeling that a few highly trained tourists will be paying this guy a visit very soon. He knows too much and will need to be silenced by the REGIME.

No need to arrest him. Just saw his head off and hang his carcass from an overpass like he would do to a Kafir.

You would think an innocent person would be offended and outraged if accused of a crime by a nation’s President. This guy “smiled”.......

A court order, I believe, as the result of a lawsuit brought by Holder’s firm. I’ll see if I can source that but it has been posted several times.

I hear where you are going, (The Court Forced Bush To Release Him), but that still does not change the fact that he
was released during the Bush Admin. Maybe Bush Admin should have appealed that order, or do what Obama and the RATS do all the time... just ignore the court order, if that is the reason the Jihadist was released.

FR posted Sept 12 2012 15:04:02:

Militants from the Shaykh Omar Abdulrahman Brigades, an AQ affiliate responsible for a number of bombings and shootings in Libya staged the initially peaceful protest as a cover for the planned assassination of Ambassador Stevens.

It appears that a Libyan security guard was in league with the Shaykh Omar Abdulrahman Brigades and advised them on the ambush timing.

The double agent Libyan security guard likely tipped off the militants as to the safe house location that was then attacked and set on fire.

The militants withdrew and the remaining occupants of the safe house exfiltrated as they were able. Friendly Libyans found Stevens and carried him to the hospital where he was declared dead.

The attack was in retaliation for the killing of AQ#2 Abu Yahya al-Libi in June. This attack was likely planned and led by Abdulbasit Azuz, a long-time associate of Ayman al-Zawahiri. Azuz is old school AQ muj, fought the Russians in Afghanistan.

Azuz was sent by Zawahiri to Libya from Pakistan in early 2011 to start a branch of AQ. They have a training camp near Derna, Libya with about 30 militants. They are connected to the AQ in the Islamic Maghreb that are well established to the west and likely participated in the raid also.

Apparently this fellow doesn’t appreciate the reach of our drone strikes.

It says a lot for our weakness, that he is right out in public and does not fear an American strike.

Drone strikes are so impersonal. I think he should meet the brother’s of the SEALs he killed. The Green Team should saddle up and deliver justice up close and personal. Hoping to never hear of the details but that this scumbag just shows up dead!

God rest those brave souls who joined the fight with no regard for their own safety !

Giving Obama just one more football to spike right before the election. The last week of October we'll be hearing about how Bush released him and Obama *brought him to justice*. Obama will ride into election day touting his "tough on terrorism" bona fides.

Well no actually since that did not happen.
What did happen is he was transferred to Libyan authorities to be held in prison there. He was later released by the Libyan authorities.

Seriously, what would have happened if Bush just said, "Come make me."?

“Hey Bam! Drop a drone on this punk.”

You’re not paying attention, Obama is busy apologizing and blaming a Coptic Christian movie maker for his mess.

A drone strike would suggest we were somehow attacked.

Quit looking at these false narratives and get behind your president!/s
