Egypt's general prosecutor on Tuesday issued arrest warrants for Florida Pastor Terry Jones and seven Coptic Christian Egyptians linked to an anti-Islam video on YouTube that sparked riots across the Middle East, The Associated Press is reporting.

The eight individuals, none of whom are believed to be in Egypt, are charged with harming national unity, insulting and publicly attacking Islam and spreading false information. They could face the death penalty.

American Christians can be tried and put to death by Muslims. This is a wet dream for the Obama Administration and the MSM. Chrissy Matthews feels a chill going up and down his leg.

Next step: issue arrest warrants for Republican congresscritters and all non-muslim religious leaders.

Perhaps that would wake them up to the fact that we are a country under muslim siege.

The correct Presidential response: “Mr. Morsi, is it your wish to enter a state of war with the United States at this time?”

“obama & hillary signed away our free speech rights to some muslim group!!”

The first amendment does not extend past US borders. So an Egyptian indictment is not a violation of the US first amendment. Americans forget sometimes that the law of other nations applies in those nations.

Now, if zero and the smartest woman in the world are asked to extradite Americans in response to the indictment, that is another matter. Zero will wait until after the election, as I’m sure will the Egyptians, to do that.

The minions of evil are always looking for stimulating ways to ply their trade, and beheading critics is a reliable way to rouse the serfs out of misery.

Obama probably pushed for these warrants.

To expect an answer like that, we shall have to go back all the way to President Reagan.

If they are not awake already, then this might work, but I wouldn't bet on it.

When they were hauling Ponzie off to jail in handcuffs, people were still trying to invest with him.

In the meantime we are busy making deals to pass the CR, instead of requiring Dingy Harry to do a budget.

You didn’t watch the video did you? The indictment is not what Bachmann is talking about.

This is such a golden opportunity to make simple animations that are a total burn on Mohammed and company.

They could be just voice acted, or if they were really gross, use computer generated voices. This is so simple it can be done online for free, but would be better with some downloaded software.

Dozens of them could be produced, then distributed as a group around the Internet so thousands could see them and send them to thousands more. And no reason to pull any punches. They could be obscene, indecent, scatological, perverted, and most importantly funny, because what upsets them more than anything else is to make fun of their hideous cult.

Just wondering -— does the U.S. have an extradition treaty with Egypt?

LOL Nuttier than a fruitcake!
Those indictments are directed against Americans operating in - gasp! - America.
And their laws are not applicable here now or ever.

“And their laws are not applicable here now or ever.”

If the publication reaches Egypt (which it did when they published it on the Internet), I would not travel to Egypt if I were the film producer. There is an indictment. When they get jurisdiction over the body, then they can convict.

For example, English libel laws are very different than ours. An American can be sued in England for a book that is protected in the US. It has happened. It will happen again.

The interesting question is what will Zero and HRC do if Egypt requests extradition? They will sympathize in their hearts with the Islamists and would be delighted to get the producer out of their hair. But if the old media ever publicized an extradition of Americans to Egypt in this situation, it would not go well for them with the public.

OTOH, to refuse a request for extradition would require them to assert the supremacy of the 1st amendment over hurting Muslim feelings. That is not a position they would be comfortable with.
