To paraphrase the Myth Rom-gay supporters on here, Akin is better than McCaskill, warts and all. Better to have a guy who makes some dumb comment about "legitimate rape" but who will nevertheless vote down-the-line conservatively put into office, than to put one of Obama's most lackyish lackies back into the seat.

I assume you are talking about Romney, who got most of his support in early primaries in New Hampshire and Iowa from Democrats, just as McCain did last time. Brilliant move. . . . . sarc.
