Todd Akin would be leading if Karl Rove and the establishment Republicans had simply acknowledged he could have sued better wording and then continued to support him.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen is that both rabid Lefists and brain-addled "Conservatives" attribute to Karl Rove awesome powers of mind control over millions of people.

There actually aren't that many people who know who he is, much less those whose every political belief hinges on his every word.

This is almost as stupid as blaming Karl Rove for Christine O'Donnell getting annihilated in the Delaware Senate race. Grow up.

And there are less now since he has disappeared from Fox News Sunday since issuing his murder joke about Akin. Perhaps his absence from there will make his heart grow fonder for the conservatives that he hates.

It is hilarious to see the comments here about Rove. They are virtually identical to those at DU.

Of course, Rove has almost no influence within the GOP today
and certainly is not the reason Romney is the candidate.

It’s not about his “mind control,” it’s about Rove’s SuperPAC’s and the RNC’s money which they took away from Akin. If you think money doesn’t influence the outcome of a race, would you be willing to take away all of Romney’s money and see how he does?

Since you are a bit thick I will type slower. To Karl Rove, also add Charles Krauthammer, George Will, Mitt Romney, John Boehner, Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity. For you and for these elite authoritarians, the people of Missouri elected Akin as the candidate. He is not a newcomer - he is a 12 year congressman with a 97% lifetime ACU rating. Unlike Boehner and Paul Ryan, Akin voted against TARP, he voted against the last 3 or 4 raises in the debt ceiling, he voted against the government takeover of GM. He has a much better record in public policy than the Presidential candidate, who spends most of his time telling us all how swell Obama is. So, please get behind Akin since he is the candidate and quit supporting McCaskill.

Every time I see your posts it comes as if 'god' is speaking. Now unless you live in Missouri your pontifications are no better than Akin's beliefs. This state is a 'swing' state. Do you know what that means? Claire won in 2006 against Talent because the twisted perverted liberals 'waited' to out Foley, the boy chaser the GOP-e- gave cover, and with malice the liberals turned off those ridiculed values voters. ANNNNND Missouri had a loaded ballot to get out the union vote annnnnd that stem cell research promising all welfare recipients they would benefit. Course Talent was not the most 'glamorous' of candidates. And Bush the president that promised he works really well with liberals calling it compassionate conservatism lost his luster.

Claire, was one of the first sitting senators that rolled out the "red" carpet, against old Hillry (I spell it like bjClinton says it) in Independence, MO. Now Claire has spent the past year hunting moderate centrist costume as if she NEVER knew Obama and he is nowhere near her campaign.

Mock and sneer all you want, but you are not nearly as bright as you consider yourself.
