... Obama’s re-election campaign and supporting committees brought in more than $114 million last month —the first time the incumbent has outraised his opponent, Gov. Mitt Romney, since April.

Obama’s Campaign Manager Jim Messina announced the figure for August late Sunday night.

Romney’s campaign brought in $111 million last month.

Where the hell are all these ads? All I see down here in Richmond, Virginia are a bunch of tough Obama ads.

Romney made a mistake by not putting Obama on the defensive all summer. He who sets the narrative wins, and now we are playing catchup.

I’ve been optimistic all summer but now Romney is sliding, even AFTER an awful jobs report. I’m not sure what we have to do to beat the guy but it is depressing to think we’re gonna be saddled with him another 4 years.

Not sure about the veracity of Obama’s fundraising dollars, but the polls reflecting an Obama lead have to be taken seriously. I say this because this weekend Romney started moving to the middle with his endorsement of some aspects of Obamacare. This is an admission from the Romney campaign that they are losing hold of the swing independent vote.

Very tough fight for Romney, as I’ve learned that many well-meaning people think rich people are to blame and they “make too much money”. This isn’t a result of Obama’s campaign as much as it derives from the efforts of Democrats over the last generation. The Democrats have successfully villainized the most successful in the country. Romney’s attempt to defend success at the RNC was not a bad idea, but it can’t work on its own. He needs to get down and dirty in key battleground states.

With the Moderators being who they are,it will Be Romneys final Nail in his Coffin.

I agree. Romney will lose the debates. Whether he wins them or not.

Demoralization is a weapon of the enemy. Don’t get it, don’t spread it!

I’m not demoralized yet but i’m very concerned. Obama gives a weak speech, bad jobs report, and really no good news at all to run on but he’s getting a bounce? It just really makes me sick that half of my fellow Americans are ok with being less than mediocre.

He must discredit himself, and his reaction to satire and jokes at his expense will do that.

Yes, in fact his election depends on the affirmative action vote from stupid whites which requires their pity. He will portray himself as both a nice family man and a tough fighter for the middle class. We must make sure his true nature shines through, that he is an a-hole who golfs with rich guys to whom he shovels middle class taxpayer money.

The stolen money parked off shore is coming home

The Democrat Party is a criminal enterprise that took Soylendra kick backs and deposited them in the Netherlands Antilles for laundering now. A TV station doesn’t report payment by cashier’s check on an offshore bank

"Obama is on the same track. People like him. People want to like him. They want to believe they made the right choice. Romney has a very tough road ahead because fighting “feelings” is always harder than fighting facts."

And that is why Romney needs to dust off those old 2008 clips of Rail Odinga and the marauding murderers juxtaposed with Obama campaigning with him and otherwise running Odinga's campaign for him. Burning people locked in a church. It's astounding that Americans know nothing about it.

Then add in a little Fast and Furious just to get the ball rolling.

Romney MUST present the hardcore truth to the American public about Obama. It should be a moral imperative for Romney to inform the public.

This Obama is a "nice guy" is devastatingly and dangerously wrong.

And he had better be prepared to use Obama's document fraud...SSN#, birth certificate, selective service form.

The people at the top of the GOP are the same ones that ran the McCain campaign. They haven’t learned a thing. They will run a willy-nilly, weak sister campaign and wonder how Romney lost. They will repeat in 2016.

There’s a built-in poll bump for each Party’s convention. The Left is working hard to keep Obama’s bump elevated. Dismiss it.

The Democrats want their communism. To Hell with them.

I guess it is time to give to Romney. I’ve held off, mostly because I’m broke, but I guess it is time to squeeze a little blood out of this turnip.

I live on the Arkansas side of the OK-AR line [about 1/4 mile from the state line].

The cable company actually operates out of Kansas.

I have seen several ads with Obama the last few months. Last night, I saw an ad with BJ Clinton 4 Obama. I have not seen any Romney ads.

I don’t know if those ads were via the cable company or via the localized TV stations. I get network feeds via cable for stations in Tulsa, OK and nw Arkansas.

Regardless, thankfully, we are not currently being inundated with ads — yet.

You may be correct, but I'm thinking Romney's in a good position at this point. It's very close right now, he has held his fire (and his $$$), Bambi has wasted a lot of money trying to paint him as an extremist, hateful, out of touch weirdo and that hasn't really worked. Bambi hasn't closed the deal with independents, has offended major sections of his base, and is extremely vulnerable to a campaign that gets its act together for the last seven weeks.

Romney's group is quite capable of ending this on a high note for him.
