Thaaaaat's all right, Mittens. You don't get a say in what is kept.
When "We The People" get through holding the feet of Congress to the fire to pass a bill repealing
all of Obamacare we'll then hold
your feet to the fire to sign said bill.
You can like parts of it all you want, but in the end you won't get to keep any of it.

Romney said it on a Sunday morning show today, think it was Face the Nation and I’ve read two different sources that reported it.

Thank you for addressing what I heard Romney say, also. We are left with Romney/Ryan.... to save our country, we have to get rid of obama. No time to get wobbly.
To: Blue Highway
Are you naive enough to really believe Mittens will actually repeal Obamacare on his first day of office like he promised? I'm not interested in talking to an idiot. Next!

This is impossible because so many Republicans and Freepers told me that the Mittster was a REFORMED Socialist.

It’s 4 years of Romney, or 4 more years of Obama. I don’t like Romney’s politics much, but he’s a decent human being, which puts him far above Obama.
Looks like you’ve made your choice already.

Of course, there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that Im going to put in place, Romney said.
How can he pass legislation as the POTUS?

It's pretty clear that Romney will disappoint us. Maybe often. This does not surprise me, and it shouldn't surprise anyone else.
One other thing is clear: Bambi wants to destroy us and everything we believe and care for. That shouldn't surprise anyone either. He's shown that's exactly what he wants to do.
I'll take the former.
Any day.

Why couldn’t he just say he would let the states decide. This is why the Senate is so important. Pre-existing disease requirement would eliminate individual insurance plans.
That being said, Romney is still better than Obama. Obama wants to destroy the Constitution create a dictatorship via executive orders. And if people can’t see that, they are as deluded as the Leftist Obama drones.

I want to keep parts of Obamacare. Post the source. He isn't quoted in this horseshit Newsmax article as having said it.
And that's what I'm addressing, genius.

Guess what Chunga. SoCon is right. Mittens said it today on Meet the Press and I heard it with my own ears: I want to keep parts of Obamacare. So youre the one posting horsesh*t. Guess what Mountain Mary. You're misquoting Mitt.

Good analysis, Wuli. He does not say he wants to force insurance plans to cover preexisting conditions or children up to 26 or older.
People need to read the article.
It is concerning, though, that he says he will replace obamacare with his own plan....huh? I thiuk he needs to fully explain his intent on this before people go off the deep end. obamacare mandates what all insurance plans must do. Does Romney plan on doing the same? I doubt it...so he shouldn’t say he’s “replacing” it.

Well, that lingo is over the top if taken literally.
But so would things be like the Susan B. Anthony pledge, which Herman Cain originally declined to assent to because it would violate a purist view of the constitutional process (later, Cain realized that yes it is acceptable for a president to stump for certain items to get into bills, even though the constitution provides no avenue for the president to literally initiate a bill).

Romney said it on a Sunday morning show today, think it was Face the Nation and Ive read two different sources that reported it.Why don't you go and find the damn transcript, read it for yourself, and find out what he really said.
To: SoConPubbie
Be more useful if you had used your 300-word excerpt to actually list the things Romney said he’d keep.
Although useful may not have been your intent.

What Mitt said on MTP...
From the transcript linked above...
MR. ROMNEY: Well, I'm not getting rid of all of healthcare reform. Of course, there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I'm going to put in place. One is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage. Two is to assure that the marketplace allows for individuals to have policies that cover their-- their family up to whatever age they might like. I also want individuals to be able to buy insurance, health insurance, on their own as opposed to only being able to get it on a tax advantage basis through their company.
To: HiTech RedNeck
....and it’s nothing new.
I think Boehner and Cantor said there were some things in Obamacare that were worthwhile.

I’m an idiot because I don’t believe the lies of Romeny the RINO? Are you freaking kidding me? If he wasn’t up against Obama, with shxt about to hit the fan, I would vote against Mittens for spite, to not have Mccain v2.0 again and to get rid of the RINOs once and for all and let the powers that be and the GOP-e that conservatives aren;t going to eat the crap the RINOs are trying to forcefeed us.
