If Romney thinks he is going to win w this mamby pamby bs against amarxist freight train he is sadly wrong, not only for himself, but for all of us.
I am disgusted for the most part w his horrible campaign.

Romney is campaigning as who he is - a liberal.
He danced the dance with many conservatives, while at the same trashing the conservatives running to get the nomination.
He had the support of the GOPe, who was actively selling the lie “he is the only guy who can beat obama”.
Many conservatives even knowing Romney’s record where swayed by the dance and the lie.
So here we are Romney the liberal running on the Republican ticket.......and
people are still claiming “we can hold his feet to the fire”
“just wait till he starts spending his campaign money”
The real question is how long will conservatives hold on to this fantasy.
Each day Romney opens his mouth and reveals more of who he is to people who don’t follow closely whats going on and the illusion is being shattered.

Rasmussen is looked on by far too many here as the end all/be all; he isn’t. He’s ONE data point out of a number of data points.
Any bounce Soetoro got from the DNC was due ENTIRELY to the rapist’s ~1 hour babble...and that will fade.
Rather than "liberal" the word I would use is "cynical." They get their "news" from Stewart and Colbert, but know most of it's BS and/or comedy.

You’ve got two columnists screaming for Romney to wake up and speak up! Bill Kristol points out Romney has returned to his pre-Ryan pattern, before the Ryan energy bump, to where he was doing little and saying even less.
My point is when does this nominee have to do something and say something?

Rasmussen just reported a record percentage of the electorate that identifies themselves as republican. IIRC, it showed more like voters as Republican than democrat. If so, there is something very wrong with this poll.

Between the family vacation on the jet ski, the mamby pamby bs, the pussy footing around on his agenda, not going on the airways to trash obama’s record, etc, its horrible.

Hey. You don’t have to convince me. I don’t think Romney is running a great campaign at all. And I am sick of hearing how the goal posts are being moved (first it was “wait until he picks a veep,” then “wait until after the convention,” then wait until “he spends his war chest,” etc.)
But it is what it is. Romney is the nominee. He’s the only thing that can stop another 4 years of Obama. And he is not dumb and he has wanted this job for 8 years - unlike McCain who just wanted to be next in line. No changing horses now. Just pray every day, and let’s see where we are this coming Friday after the bounce (hopefully) fades.
True. This group is made up mostly of single white women who look at government as a surrogate for everything missing in their lives. I see it every day.

I felt that was in 2008 and never imagined a communist like obama could get elected.
Now - i don’t doubt anything at all.
RAS always uses Likely Voters, properly weighted with Democrats and based on ‘10 results, rather than ‘08. His margin of error on electio day was 1% on 2008. Readily, RAS also predicted this bump.
Give it a few days to shake out. God is with us, unless He isn’t.
If He isn’t, there is surely chastisement coming.
