Did not his parochial school teachers explain to him the evils of hard liquor? I though the teaching nuns were pretty good at drilling in those kinds of lessons.

If I wasn’t German/Croatian/Scottish/Creek, I wouldn’t have the slightest objection to being Irish.

So then, what’s so very wrong with responsible drinking? It doesn’t necessarily turn anyone with any sense into a barking moonbat like the idiot Matthews.
