Give it a week for the outrage to die down, and for Akin to make his case and his apology tour. Then we’ll have a better picture of where it stands. It's been 5 days. He was down "only" 7 in the PPP poll when corrected for the 9 point oversample of Republicans. Now he's down 10 in a new poll.
The writing is on the wall in 10 ft high letters.
