I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If Akin stays in and loses, pro-choice moderates within the Big Tent GOP Establishment will seize on this big time.

I can just see it now from them, "Why take a gamble in swing states with pro-life candidates, when we can have a 'sure win' without them...". This isn't just about this race, but the stake of future races for the party. Pro-life groups should think long and hard about continuing to support Akin- there are many, other solid candidates in MO who won't cause this outcome, or lose this current race.
