A Democrat district attorney in a county where I lived, sent a complaint about me to our Texas State Attorney General. The district attorney wanted me removed as Judge of the Early Voting Ballot board based on the word, “or” in a section of the Texas Election Code.

This word, “or” caused the Secretary of State lawyer in charge of elections, to write a brief and I wrote a brief and the Attorney General’s lawyers wrote a brief.

I wasn't worried because I knew I was right about that section of law. It took six months for the Attorney General to issue an opinion. I was right - I was exonerated. That opinion is on the Attorney General’s website for all the world to read.

All because of “or”.

The problem is that 'or' might be a racial code word.

'Or' is similar to 'oar', and 'oars' are what slaves needed to work on galley ships.
