They aren’t wrong. When one has an IQ of 70-75, then someone with an IQ of 95 IS brilliant. I know many here will disagree and think I’m generous, but I seriously think Obama is at about 95, below the “isn’t very smart” range.
Half the population is below average. The average IQ is (by definition) 100, and about 95% of the population falls in the range 70-130 (+/- two standard deviations). That means there are a whole lot of ‘room temperature IQ’ folks wandering around out there.
Oh, he might even be above average, even up to about 15-20 pts, but he’s no genius, as most on the left claim he is.
My experience with liberals is that, lacking/rejecting a relationship with their Creator, they derive their sense of self worth through what other creatures think of them.
This is why they “advocate” policies and support “brilliant” people - to get the accolades of their peers.
