I wish the Republicans would take the same stance instead of instinctively going on the defensive every time the media parses “macaca” or some other trumped-up race baiting meme. I can’t figure out if Joe is really this dense or if there is some motive behind this that leads to Biden being dropped from the ticket. The thing I don’t understand is, if Biden wants off the ticket, why doesn’t he just resign for health reasons or Obama force him to resign?

The first time I really became aware of Biden politically was when Scott Ritter was testifying before Congress. Now, leaving out all we learned about Ritter since then, I still remember the atrocious way Biden acted towards him --- Mr. Bigwig Senator, letting this young uniformed "gofer" know how menial he was. Oh, how the condescension just ooooooozed from this smarmy jackass. I remember yelling at the TV for him to shut his sanctimonious mouth.
When I learned he was Obamalamdingdong's VP choice in '08, I was absolutely floored.

Biden pictures himself as a tough guy who speaks his mind, that would be alright and have no problem with anyone being tough and speaking their mind, but his major problem is he makes no sense and does not engage his brain before his mouth starts speaking.
