Since the repeal of DADT, I’ve been encouraging young people in my family to avoid the military.... and that’s not an easy thing to say for a military retiree. I’d hoped to be kind of an “ambassador” for the Armed Forces after I retired from the AF in 2004. But to recommend entry into this queer-friendly organization, under Obama? Hell, no.

And wonder when the Middle East becomes WWIII, which of the homo-community are going to fight this thing?
