The shooter in Aurora had the same look.
He fantasized about mass murder and suicide.
The stupid grin was his way of saying “I know something you don't”.
maybe I’m off base here.. but it seems like these are the people (loughner, holmes etc) who used to be in the state hospitals.... isn’t it lib mentality - rehabilitate them into society - that lead to the closing of these hospitals and the subsequent mentally ill homeless wandering around city streets? When I lived in Boston in the ‘80s (before it when total libnut) there were 100s of homeless that had come from the state hospitals.... it’s sad....I suspect that maybe there isn’t anywhere to go with these people... family just hopes they don’t snap....I could be wrong but thats how it looks to me
