Egypt military shows no sign of opposing president

That's because the military knows hussein backs Morsi and the islamists.

That wouldn’t be enough to cow a military that was truly dedicated to suppressing the MB. The MB got where it is today with the help of the military after all; there are plenty of top brass loyal to them and to the multitudes chanting “We’re heading for Al Quds, martyrs in the millions” in Tahrir Square. . .

If we look beneath the surface, I bet we will find Obama’s and Hillary Clinton's fingerprints all over this. The US has threatened the Egyptian military with aid cutoff and worse if they interfere with the fiction of Egyptian democracy. We will now see the full flowering of a Muslim Brotherhood Islamist government and the death and persecution of millions of Christians in Egypt. Soon we will see rabble rousing for an attack on Israel.

Not likely that that entered into it. What is more likely is that Morsi might know that the MB already has enough depth inside the military to prevent a coup. They were not exactly just sitting and waiting all the Mubarak years.
