We walk in the shadows. We hunt in the darkness of violent minds. We peek into the blackest of souls. Our lives are spent on the edge of insanity. We commit bad acts for the sake of good people. Necessary, but ignored. We cling to the ledge of righteousness, clawing our way out of the lightless abyss that is evil. We are not pure but we are just. We will stand victorious high on the mount of Liberty, our flock safely in view. The evil of men defeated...for now. We stand ready. Our focus is clear, our mission defined. No harm shall come to those in our charge lest we sacrifice our flesh for the safety of the masses. They may steal away with one of our sheep, but it will be at great risk, great pain, and eventually over our carcass. We are sheepdog and we are watching.
