As a Californian, you know that how? Here in Wisconsin we love Paul Ryan and only grudgingly would share him with the nation as the VP nominee.

I learned from colleagues and clients in Wisconsin who have had to deal with him, and from coworkers in DC who have had to deal with him. You'd be surprised to learn that they still unlock the doors on state boarders now and then and let people travel and work elsewhere.

Gee, if the food is good why do they have to lock the doors in the first place? sarc/off

Here, in Wisconsin, most of us know our representatives personally. We even know others who represent districts that are not ours, including their blemishes.

I've known Paul Ryan for 8 years, and I know lots of people who know him well. I have NEVER heard anything negative about him, such as you report. Maybe you and your friends have him mixed up with some of the politicians in Illinois named Ryan. Those Ryans have spent time in prison and are unrelated to Paul, as far as I know.
