Special Prosecutor Angela Corey's office today released 76 new pages of evidence in the George Zimmerman second-degree murder case, including dozens of pages of records the state did not intend to make public.
The new documents included a grainy photo depicting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin's body, George Zimmerman's school records, from high school and Seminole State College, and his application for the Seminole County sheriff's Citizens Law Enforcement Academy.

School records why? Is Zimmerman running for POTUS?

Usually reliable sources have stated that as a zygote Zimmerman exhibited unusually erratic behavior.
It's not if this statement is true or not - it is the seriousness of the charge.

Are we going to be able to wrap up this Trayvon debacle by September so we have a month to stew before the elections?

Three observations:
(1) They definitely should discuss Zimmerman's school transcripts - the public has a right to inspect the transcripts of a person of such public importance as George Zimmerman, right Sentinel?
(2) Everything "accidentally" leaked by the prosecution just happens to taint the jury pool against Zimmerman. None of Martin's criminal records or (I'm sure exemplary) educational records were leaked, were they?
(3) "Zimmerman shot Trayvon" - interesting phrasing. Not "George shot Trayvon" or "Zimmerman shot Martin."
Formal distance for George Zimmerman, easy familiarity for Trayvon Martin.

If they released a crime scene photo of the body they just blew their case, IMO.

I imagine a week before the election so they can maximize the culture war they are mightily attempting to brew.

Zimmerman . . . failed an astronomy class in the fall of 2011 . . . placed on academic probation the summer of 2011 because his grade-point average dropped below 2.0, a C average . . . In the fall of 2009, he got a C in "Evil Minds Violent Predators." He also earned a D in "Intro To Criminal Justice." Oh dear, he was not a strong student! Well, that bombshell completely reverses my opinion on whether Zimmerman had a right to shoot the thug who was beating him to death.

I’ll bet he could produce a LFBC in paper version to the court.
Obama, OTOH, can not and will not produce a paper LFBC to a court of law in this country, neither civilian nor military.
There has to be a reason. Or reasons.

Prosecutors did not intend to distribute the photo of Trayvon's body, nor Zimmerman educational records, a spokeswoman for Corey said. The Orlando Sentinel is not publishing the photo of the teen's body.
But you couldn't resist releasing his educational records, could you???
To: VeniVidiVici
So we can now expect the school records of George Zimmerman’s attacker to be released, too, right?
To: Olog-hai
Nah, you don’t need to release school records, or even be a citizen to be potus. Ask Barry, or Baraq, or Barack, - who is that guy anyway?

Intentionally blowing the case (releasing evidence)to avoid an embarassing loss at trial. Proscecutor ready to accept mistrial? Interesting speculation. If it played out that way, the leftwing lunatics could still get their 24X7 news coverage about racists. Maybe they could even ignite the fuse on some riots for their October surprise.

I think Chicago politics have just moved into that Florida courtroom and the judge is playing like nobama did when he ran for the senate seat in IL. Ruin the oppositions reputation and character..then move in for the kill. Doesn’t matter that baby trayvon was a mobster in the making and was released from school for bad behavior, he must be saved, because he was B L A C K, George must be destroyed because he is a W H I T E hispanic.

Of course, it was intentional. There’s no other reason for it. They can’t afford to go to trial and expose the poor widdle angel for the punk he was. Though I am surprised they released that he had a red lighter on him which further seals the suspicion he had got some blunts at the convenience store.

This is just more prosecutorial misconduct.
I second the question, why is it ok to release Zimmerman’s school records and not the President’s? The records have nothing to do with the charges against Zimmerman. Therefore, under privacy laws, these records should not be released.

Why are Zimmerman’s high school and college grades relevant to anything in this case? How were they legally obtained?

Nor are they publishing a photo of T. Martin as he actually appeared in his daily life in the days prior to his confrontation w. G. Zimmerman.

Is it common practice to release the grades of suspects?
How are Zimmerman's grades relevant to the trial?
Why are they public, when the president's grades aren't?

The article doesn't make it clear, but , IMO, releasing a photo of the deceased in an ongoing case is highly prejudicial. Anger is already high.
You used to have the right to a fair trial. The prosecution releasing "evidence", especially of such an inflammatory nature, blows their case. And violates Zimmerman's rights.
Juries are only shown evidence that is ruled by the court to be evidence.
What's next?
Autopsy photos, that are highly invasive, showing the kids guts in a tub on the floor?
To: Myrddin; MileHi
Re #43. Sorry. Got busy and missed your posts. Didn’t see this “Pic”. But what is the intent? Walk into a 7-11 with a rock and a stick in paper bag and tell the clerk you have a gun and THEY WILL prosecute you for armed robbery with a gun.
To: VeniVidiVici
Shocking. Actually, two pictures of Trayvon's body were smuggled out today. I hesitate to post the second one here, it's so inflammatory. It's clear from the photo that Trayvon's murderer was/is a cold-blooded racist. And, so, without further ado, here it is:

Please, everyone, try to keep your emotions in check.
