Something that I have been thinking about for many years (and I am sure many FReepers have been too)..
WHY don’t WE make some DEM moderates to swing the govt. back to the conservative side (I won’t say Repub now.. I think that party is TOO far gone..)
With our grass roots, I think it can be done.. but someone has to start it, sadly, I am far and away.. but it’s just an idea (and I am 99.9% sure I’m not the only one that has been thinking it).
Forgot to mention a couple of things... It took MANY decades for the socialists to slip in to our party to throw it off.. and they did a good job of it.. look at what we have now :/
It will take a LONG time to return the favor and get this more balanced; BUT, if we keep saying, “We have to win this one, but we will get it right next time (again, and again, and again.. ad infinitum)... well, look where we are now :( )

Impossible. Democrat party platform is for gay marriage, socialized medicine, higher punitive taxes for upper income earners, and a Federal govt that spends 1/4 of our national wealth.
you cant ‘moderate’ the left.
