[Video] New Delhi: Foreign Minister SM Krishna today voiced his concern on the safety of the Indian community in the United States to the country's Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton after the shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Krishna added that he had suggested some points to Clinton to ease the comfort level of the Indian community. President Barack Obama said that Americans need to do more soul searching to find ways to reduce violence in the wake of the deadly weekend shooting spree at the Gurudwara in Wisconsin that killed five men and one woman. Worried about your safety?
Two words...
Concealed Carry.
They are safer here than in India. And they know it.
Many more people were murdered in Chicago recently Mostly Obama’s “people”. Many more people were killed on the highways. The list goes on.
Indians have it great in America. They are hard working and peaceful people. The shooter was a moron and is now in hell. What he did has NOTHING to do with anyone else. Not a damn thing.
Sikhs are great folks. Very peaceful and self-reliant.
Krishna needs to shut the hell up. These were Americans. Period! It is none of his business and the reality is that gobs of people in India have been offed for various reasons in the last few days. That is Krishna’s problem and what India needs to be addressing. Not events internal to the United States.
> Krishna needs to shut the hell up....
Two points: I wonder if the US would be asking for the safety of Americans in India if US-origin people has been massacred by an Indian in India; secondly, Krishna is probably playing politics for domestic consumption.
Numerous huh? As in how many? Then get back on track and talk about murders not harassment and “racial attacks” because that’s the context here. Then show me that no Sikhs have been murdered in India “since the ‘80s” to back that up.
Highly doubt they are ALL Americans. Many of them could he permanent residents, guest workers, foreign students, dual citizens or NRI (person of Indian origin). And in all of those cases it becomes Krishna's job to expression concern. And the safety of all of those people IS Indian's business.
When you kill Indians you do the “splainin” to India.
Is that such an important question? How many is too many for you? Sikh community leaders themselves have been complaining about racial attacks ever since 9/11.
And get some perspective kiddo. There are 20 million Sikhs in India. While there are only 250 thousand Sikhs in all of US. Random murders is one thing while targeted hate crime against a very tiny little community is a whole different thing.
The Muslims have been killing them wholesale and suddenly they are worried.
Its wrong to be worried when someone is killing you?
And they aren’t all good people either. Here’s a story about a half dozen Sikhs here illegally, charged with selling bath salts and money laundering.

I’m sure most Sikhs are valuable additions to their communities, but these birds are exceptions.
If the number of “targeted hate crimes” isn’t important then your point that they happen isn’t important. Go waste someone else’s time with your nonsense. Only a fool would think that India is a safer place to be than India.
“Foreign Minister SM Krishna”
Sir, what about the safety of Christians in your country?
No answer? Not surprised.
Unless they stay in one of the "Patel Motels" befouling our fair landscape. Gosh, are they dirty!
And the safety of Hindus, for that matter.
Muslims killed 80 million Hindus to conquer India

Muslims continue to massacre Hindus and others in India.
What a lame excuse ,for Killing Sikhs. Christian massacare is not some thing you should be worried about. They are converts and Indian by birth while clashes happens between right hindu groups when the comes to know that Missionaries luring poor and innocent people by disregarding Hindus Gods.
Get your fact right.
