Five minutes after Ryan’s chosen the Dems will saturate TV with ads telling seniors they’ll be eating dog food under Ryan’s plan. Ryan is an economic genius but he will be portrayed as an economic nightmare and a direct descendant of the Marquis d’Evremonde. An attention span challenged America will have little patience to actually listen to the facts. Ideologically a Ryan choice is attractive. Electorally it’s deadly to the GOP.
I totally disagree. 0bama’s theft of $500 million from Medicare to fund 0bamacare was a bigger knife in Senior’s backs. That more than offset any perceived damage from Ryan’s plan. You’re correct about ‘perception’ because of the 0bamaMedia, but the fact is 0bama will plunge a huge knife right into the backs of seniors through ‘death panels’. Unfortunately and by design, that won’t be realized until AFTER the election.
