He has great “bedside” manner too.
He’s been wonderful with our cats, a huge improvement from our last vet who was an idiot who churned us when our cat Slinker had lymphoma. Misdiagnosis and expensive but unneeded treatments are her business. We spent $1500 when all he needed was euthanasia, for her delaying made it too late to save him.
We have kicked her dust off our shoes.
We’ve become much more involved in deciding the direction of the treatment of our dogs. When our eldest boy went in for his ultrasound, I told our Vet that I wanted to be there. She seemed very surprised, but agreed. If she hadn’t agreed, I wouldn’t have booked the appointment. I’m so glad I was there. He was so afraid, and I think that me holding him and talking to him helped. My poor baby.
