I’d also like to know why my posts were removed in this thread for daring to defend myself against YOU and your derangement. I think those individuals are being misled by the national TEA Party Express and are making a poor electoral choice.
You don't seem to know what tea party people are like. They are not tools like you seem to think, that they can be led around by the nose as to who to support.
Tea Party people are strong Conservative thinkers that will not be fooled. So many of them support Neumann.
OH and BTW, I have never seen FR modded in the way you suggest.

Please see post #48 of this thread where I acknowledged that Neumann has conservative followers. I still say these individuals are a minority within both the GOP and Wisconsin-based TEA Party groups.
This is evident in polling which shows either Thompson or Hovde with pluralities in a 4-man race. Neumann's share of the electorate is smaller than theirs, therefore he has minority support among GOP voters. Crosstabs of those polls indicate similar minority support among those who self-identify as TEA Partiers.

The people you spoke to are NOT grass roots activists. They are just ordinary folks who showed up because they were either:
1) Neumann supporters to begin with, and/or
2) Passive TEA party supporters who were deceived by the national TEA Party Express' shameless attempts to create the false impression that Wisconsin TEA Party groups support Neumann as THE conservative in the Senate race.
As noted elsewhere in this thread, Neumann has ZERO support from high-profile Wisconsin GOP, conservative and/or TEA Party leaders:
- Not a single member of Wisconsin's Congressional delegation (current of former).
- Not a single appointed member of Gov. Walker's administration.
- Not a single member of the State Assembly (current or former).
- Not a single member of the State Senate (current or former).
- Not a single member of the state GOP leadership (current or former).
- Not a single leader from ANY of the local TEA Party groups ANYWHERE in Wisconsin.
Do you want to know who supports Neumann?
- DC Politicians
- DC Lobbyists
- Grover Norquist (who is bought and paid for by Big Business interests)
- and the California-based TEA Party Express
Go back to California, you TROLL! Go talk to people "on the ground" (I still have no clue what you mean by that term) in California.

Not in Wisconsin and not on the TEA Party Express' decision to endorse Mark Neumann. LouD posted multiple press releases above that document that they are NOT on the same page. In fact, as TEA Party Express has continued to ratchet up their unwelcome intrusion into Wisconsin politics, Wisconsin conservative talk radio hosts are reporting that local TEA Party groups are extremely disappointed and even angry at the TEA Party Express. All anyone has asked from you is to show a little respect or deference to Wisconsin FReepers AND/OR to make the argument as to why you choose to support Neumann ahead of 3 other reasonably conservative and qualified candidates.
Saying that you've talked to one person or a hundred people who like Neumann is not a reasoned argument. I feel like I'm asking Sir Ignatius Gumby why he thinks the Battle of Tralfalgar was fought on dry land.

And in my discussions with hundreds of Wisconsin voters, I have tried to disuade the handful who have said they intend to vote for Neumann. When I remind them of all the crap Neumann has pulled in the last few years, remind them of Neumann's 4 defeats for public office, remind them of Neumann's refusal to run for Senate in the last 4 election cycles, and remind them of the superior backgrounds and in-state endorsements of the other 3 candidates, I have almost always changed their intended vote.

This was the second serious mistake you made in backing a Senate candidate. I think your behavior and posts should serve as an example of a Neumann supporter. That's why he has almost zero support on FR as a primary candidate. Congrats on your bang-up job.

Not in the least. But you are a shining example of projection, why you'd come to such a misguided conclusion.
That is the problem with voters that don’t often have the time to research the history of a given candidate. Neumann may talk a good game, but once they learn of his 20 years as an active office-seeker and his losing record, it’ll give most serious voters pause. He’s closer to the disastrous Sharron Angle in Nevada, who lost two prior winnable races and badly divided the state GOP with her antics.
Folks need to remember that even though Tammy Baldwin is a certifiable moonbat, she’s been in office continuously for almost 27 years and has NEVER lost a race in her rise up from parochial office (and she has faced some strong and credible opponents). Neumann remains the one candidate who could keep Baldwin’s winning record intact.
You continue to make stuff up to substantiate your baseless attacks on Neumann and me.

My great-great-great grandfather was an early settler of Waukesha County in the 1840s and generations of my family are buried there.
