They’re saying he was in the Army for six years and ended his career with what amounts to a slightly less than honorable discharge. His last station was Psyops at Fort Bragg.

If they try to say he mistook Sikhs for Muslims, that would not make sense. Anyone who knows anything about militaries knows about the Sikhs.
