You can bet the media is praying(Wait, I forgot, libs don’t pray) OK, hoping that they can somehow, connect this guy to the Republican party. I doubt the shooter was targeting people wearing turbans thinking they were Muslim. Anyone with half a brain knows the difference. I live near a Sikh Temple, I see Sikh’s all the time, you can clearly see the difference, doesn’t take a genius
If it turns out that this guy really did this, mistaking Sikhs for Muslims, then he was even more of an idiot who didn’t even know his own community. There’s a mosque about 3 miles NW of there on 13th and Layton.
Actually you would be surprised at how many Americans figure the dudes they see with turbans are Muslim, not Sikh. This is so 99% of time in the USA
Making it more confusing is that overseas Muslims do wear turbans in some cultures. Mostly the Afghans and wacki Pakis as far as I can tell. Also some of the high religious muckety mucks in Persia and Arabia. An American can see this on TV and get misled.
