At least four people were shot just after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, and a police SWAT team entered the building before noon and brought uninjured people out of the building at 7512 S. Howell Ave.
Among those who were shot was the president of the temple.
People were in the temple as early as 6:30 a.m. Sunday and many more were arriving for a service that was to begin about 11:30 a.m.
There were reports that children were taken to the building's basement after shots were fired.
There are specified groups that are labeled capable of domestic terrorism; unless the "white shooter" had his "Tea Party" or "militia" card on him they wouldn't use the domestic terrorism label.

Yes..I am just wildly speculating. Just find it interesting tha lack of info being released. After aurora, we knew the guy’s name within a few hours. They ruled out terrorism immediately. Hell...even after Ft. hood shooting they would not say terrorism for days. It all points to Muslim perp IMHO.
Other possibility is that it is a lone nut but one with ties to conservative ideology hence the immediate ‘terror’ label. That would fit the WH play book perfectly.
If the shooter is white, they’ll leak it before the press conference tomorrow.
Fox News has been covering the shooting sporadically. First they ended the coverage for the Wall Street Journal report and then some political nonsense (regularly scheduled programming).
I also turned Fox off in favor of *choke* CNN because Fox had about 6 minutes of commercials interrupted by a 2 minute “update”.
So to claim Fox has been covering this non-stop, commercial free is simply wrong. CNN has had commercials, but they’ve been on the story pretty much exclusively, much more so than. Thems the facts, Jack.
Now in that time that CNN has been reporting non-stop, we’ve been getting every rumor and theory that has come down the pike. Is that better than sporadic and more accurate coverage? Probably not. That’s probably why the police don’t plan on giving another press conference until tomorrow morning.
How are they going to grill him? He’s dead.

Why are you being such an obstinate d-bag on pretty much all matters? I’ve seen several interviews with Sikh’s outside the Temple making the claim that they’ve been threatened before, being confused for Muslims.
It’s been on TV, on CNN and Fox (clearly before you tuned in) so there’s no link to a story.
Interesting thast in both Aurora and todays “incident”...the folks INSIDE immediately said “MULTIPLE SHOOTERS” and yet....in both cases we only hear about a “LONE SHOOTER”....can that many people inside not be able to tell the difference between one and more than one shooter? (rhetorical)
Son of a victim being interviewed. His mother heard 30-50 shots. His father who is president of the temple, confronted shooter and was shot. He still does not know for sure if he is dead or at Froedtert.
Just curious: All LEOs and ATF etc are wearing horiz black tape across badges. Was there a LEO killed recently? For US Military casualties? Any idea?
Thinking there must be some loose ends to tie up if they don’t plan on saying any more about the killer for 16 hours. A lot can be taken care of in that amount of time.
Last I heard he’s “deceased”.

That’s more understandable in the Theater - have you been to an ‘Action-Adventure’ movie in a modern Movie House, with modern sound systems??
(Hint - the sound effects approximate that of a Flash-Bang going off every few seconds - people in the audience (except for the stone deaf) are probably pretty disoriented...

I have no idea....just speculating...or they had a local LEO death. I might nose around the Wisconsin sites later and check it out.

Guy being interviewed on CNN right now says that the perp was a white guy, fairly tall, with a 9-11 tatoo, wearing white T shirt and black pants.

They are hoping we forget about it in 16 hours.
Same guy on CNN now. He was being used as an interpreter between law enforcement and the witnesses who were in the temple. For that reason, he’s probably heard about everything the witnesses had to say. He says the perp targeted men wearing turbans, who would most easily be identified as holy men/priests.
There was a Milwaukee County Sheriff Deputy killed in a traffic accident a few days ago. That could be the reason for the black tape.
Lol. I know, just keeping with my wild speculation here. It’s just strange. I really think it is going to be a Muslim terror thing or some other branch of the Sikh religion that is terrorizing this branch. So sad that we can not trust our law enforcement institutions anymore.....especially the Feds. Obama has shattered that trust with his incessant partisanship and demagoguery.
The person being interviewed did’t say that the cnn interviewer said that. I didn’t hear the guy being interviewed confirm that.

I’ve heard him (the interpreter guy) say three times now that the perp had a 9-11 tatoo. I also heard him directly state the stuff I attributed to him in my previous post. Sorry you heard something different.

Maybe your local Fox TV station has non-stop coverage going, but not Fox News, the cable channel.

The guy didn’t specifically describe the “9-11 tattoo.” He did say that he thought it was a hate crime because he believes the perp thought the Sikhs were Muslim. He also said the perp was not a member of the Sikh community and that no one knew him.

Looks like CNN has followed the cops to the home of shooter. Name will be leaked real soon especially if it doesn’t sound Muslim.

If the shooter was a white guy, the media would have already reported his name. They knew the name of James Holmes what, an hour after it happened, yet they don’t release this guy’s name..very strange..but the fact that they are repeating the 9/11 tattoo info, this is the narrative the media will use
A couple thoughts by someone who is sometimes in the middle of these messes.
1. Drunk freeping, always a bad idea.
2. Hesitate just a second before hitting post and maybe even check back and see if someone hasn’t posted an update or correction to the post you are about to lambast.
By broader family I think he means not related by blood or marriage, but by being all Americans together. By being citizens of this country together. The bigger family. You and me, and them, all together. Pretty neat, if you ask me.
