At least four people were shot just after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, and a police SWAT team entered the building before noon and brought uninjured people out of the building at 7512 S. Howell Ave.
Among those who were shot was the president of the temple.
People were in the temple as early as 6:30 a.m. Sunday and many more were arriving for a service that was to begin about 11:30 a.m.
There were reports that children were taken to the building's basement after shots were fired.
The only problem with the lone shooter theory is that more and more fire trucks are coming in and the terrorist joint task force has been called in along with FBI and ATF.
I think he’s criticizing broad Western liberalism in his quote, not specifically modern leftist liberalism. He’s saying that the West is reluctant — too reluctant — to fight for its democratic ideals, because Westerners believe they are self-evident and inevitable. He’s saying we need to be more willing to fight. And I’d almost bet that if we could see the whole quote we’d see he means fighting external enemies like radical Islam.
I agree they sound like thugs, and fat white bald guys sounds like Bubbas. What if this is revenge for their kid getting beat up by a Sikh kid or something?
I sure hope that’s not the case. I sure hope it turns out to be Muslims victimizing their old enemies the Sikhs. The fact that it was timed to coincide with the visiting priest — a guy who very likely sees radical Islam as a threat to be fought — makes me think the latter is more likely.

Yes, just heard the press statement. Also that they believe at this point there was only one shooter. I’m thinking it’s going to take them many hours to find everyone hiding in the building, identify them, debrief them, take witness statements, etc.

Don’t be so condescending — we have plenty of people in this country who think that islam is a ROP and that Obama is an upstanding Christian.

Of the few Sikhs I have encountered they all seemed like peaceful people except for the ghurkas that could be used anytime for defense. Kinda like open/ccw.
