Geeez. Where does the time go...
The left really bared its fangs with Bork in 1987, but it was so shocking and in your face that no one thought it was a developing trend.
But in 1991, the gloves were off—and to me, Anite Hill was the dividing line, when the Communists and Far Left made their play for power; then came Clinton and his corruption from 1993-2001, with 1992 being the year the press excoriuated Bush and Quayle. With the defeat of Gore by the slimmest ofmmargins in 2000, the Left was on its heels until 2005 when Pelosi and Reid started to ascend, taking power in the 2006 mid terms, after the media and the Left demonized Bush and Cheney since 2003.
We know the history of what happened since. 2008 was the year of Obama, a complete hoaixng of the American people, with a financial crisis thrown in for good measure; 2010 saw the rise of the Tea Party and the crowning achievement of the Left and the Democrats—one party passage of Obamacare.
Now in 2012, we are in a struggle for the very future of a free America.
Yes, we have come a long way on 21 years.
