We need to use our freedom to pursue morality rather than using it as a license for immorality.

I like your argument. However, liberals and progressives have very little absolute morals - other than hating the morals of others. In other words, the liberals aren't just attacking our "freedom of speech." They are SPECIFICALLY attacking Christian and conservative morality!

They don't like us having freedom of speech, but they HATE us having morals! They want to make our moral objection to homosexuality ILLEGAL! At this point and time, the homosexual mafia is winning this battle - in the legal courts. I think the American public showed on Wednesday - and all the voter referendums against same-sex marriage - that the homosexuals are NOT winning over our hearts and minds! In other words, they aren't winning the "moral" fight.

I am paraphrasing a found father, but he said something about our Constitution not being suited for a moral-less society. The direction America is heading, where Christian morals and values are being bashed, mashed and scolded by the MSM and liberals, I think we are seeing that he was most certainly CORRECT!

Indeed! The quote is from John Adams: "This Constitution is made for a moral and religious people. It is inadequate for the governing of any other."

I am heartened by the outpouring of support for Chick-Fil-A, but disappointed that so many explain it as support for "free speech" rather than for public morality, since "free speech" is the slippery slope that has gotten us into this mess in the first place.

For many, I suspect, "free speech" is an easy answer given by (A) those afraid to say, "I'm here in line at Chick-Fil-A because they stand for what's RIGHT in the eyes of God," or (B) those who don't like homosexuality but do like fornication and pornography and all their pet immoralities and so are disqualified to make an argument from morality.
