She said she was uncomfortable but he persisted. That comes very close to assault.
So now our side is imposing "speech codes"? Banning "hate speech"?
Don't you see that this is merely the inevitable result of treating the Bill of Rights as though Moses brought it down from the mountain on stone tablets?
I'm GLAD that a-hole got fired. I'm GLAD Dan Cathy stood firm. And if there were a Chick-Fil-A in my city, I'd have GLADLY stood in line for an hour to patronize that morally-upstanding business. But NOT because "freedom of speech" is from God; but because morality is.
We need to get off this weak ground of "free speech" - where the good people have lost time and time again - and fight instead from the unassailable hilltop of morality.

But it is a free speech issue. When you have mayors of cities saying the a business cannot open because they disagree with the opinions of the business owner, then the government is trying to stifle speech and that is unconstitutional.

You seem to have an OCD about Moses, tablets and the Bible. The only nut job on all these related threads to bring those up repeatedly, as if you had a profound insight.
Nothing to worry about, though. Really.
They have medication for that.
