The massive crowd reflected a cross section of America. You sensed you were participating in something historic by simply purchasing a chicken sandwich. I do not doubt everyone wanted their chicken sandwich, especially after such a long wait. However, they were there, like me, for a reason much more important. They were making a collective statement of support for the Restaurants' willingness to stand up for marriage and family. They were standing up for free speech and against political correctness. They were applauding with their purchase the courage of the owners of this restaurant.

I expect the response from the Left to this will be more vile than usual.

Only a few hate-filled leftists crawled out from under their rocks to spew. Here is video of one such, who went to a CFA drive through, asked for free water, then berated the girl working at the window.

We consumers can control this economy and thus, this election. Other than our pledge to patronize Chick-Fil-A once a week, this household will not buy anything but essential food and fuel until November 7. There are relatively peaceful ways to thwart this Marxist regime at this point, and we all should participate in bringing it down.

This was truly a grass roots demonstration.

Compare what we witness yesterday with the countless “occupy” demonstration. Which group represents America?

The left control most media outlets, they attempt to shape the arguments with a known bias supporting one view point.

The “silent” majority are seldom consulted and even when they attempt to push back the left’s agenda (like in California through the proposition route) the left courts overturn their votes.

What we are living through today is nothing new in history.

Tyrants only respect one view point and they use the full force of the government to enforce that viewpoint, silencing any who oppose it.

What history shows is that force can silence oppositions but it is not the same as convincing others your view is the correct one.

Nation’s living under tyrants are under great pressure, eventually they explode.

One of the great things about how our founding fathers set up our constitution was the provision for making changes via amendments.

Amendment process is slow and difficult, and for a good reason. It takes a consensus of public opinion to change the constitution. However the left over the past 100 year in seeking their Utopia has short circuited that process via the courts.

Many major changes in our society have been made by the courts not by the proper process.

Hasn’t anyone ever wonder why after the Civil War it took a constitutional amendment to free the slaves? The legislatures nor the courts had the power.

Yet the courts today change at will long established boundaries within our nation regardless of what the will of the people really is.

This will eventually cause a revolt. First in the ballot box, but if the elections are rigged and the people’s vote nullified, then elsewhere.

I believe we are coming to the end game in the march to utopia. Regardless who wins, our nation will change when it is all said and done.

Those of us at FR will (mostly) vote, but I'm not as confident that this Chik-Fil-A flap is a net positive for America on Election Day. The far left fringe is not stupid (okay, they are both stupid and evil, but they're also better than decent Americans when it comes to the tactics for manipulating groups). They provoked this confrontation, intentionally and with careful planning.

Obama Affirms His Support for Same Sex Marriage Obama didn't claim to approve of gay "marriage" between 1996 (where a much younger socialist bigot made that claim) and May of this year when he again claimed to support gay "marriage". To digress for a moment to another recent battle, the Tea Party was proud and thrilled three years ago, when we killed ObamaCare, and then we went back to our real lives, satisfied with our victory and secure in the knowledge that we could forget Washington DC - and then the far left forced ObamaCare through while we were unprepared. I wonder if the big government liberals provoked this Chik fight in order to give us the satisfaction of another victory. Are they hoping we'll go home happily and focus on the real world, so they can steal the election and keep control of the mechanisms of government? We have to make sure we stay focused through the election and beyond.

We went out about 8 p.m. to a CFA here in southern California (Walnut). The line reminded me of Disneyland - may have been 1.5 to 2 hours long. Plus there was a car line through the huge parking lot and out into the street. People were crossing the cross walks/ folks in cars were cheering. There were families, singles, old folks, young college students, and ALL races. It was definitely NOT just cranky white ‘clingers.’ There was a feeling of celebration, and it definitely made me think O could go down in November. This is California, after all. He might even lose California!!

Every young idiot who supports homosexualism and opposes Chick-Fil-A should have to spend a long night with homosexuals and experience a “forced rear entry” so they can form their judgement based on experience.

When I got my sandwiches at the drive up window, the young woman said “Thank you sir”, to which I responded “Have a Blessed Day”. She replied “God Bless You Sir”.
