And the days not over yet.
Somewhere, a Burger King ad mans toying with the idea of having The King declare himself 100% pro-life.
@dancathy just called me. #ChickFilA has already set a world record today, with 7 more hrs to go in the West. #OutOfChicken
Rick Warren (@RickWarren) August 2, 2012
Not a word about todays activities has been whispered on Chick-fil-As feed even though CFA has been trending on Twitter off and on all day. As noted in the earlier post, the suspicion is that the companys lying low about whats happening in order to extricate itself from the front line of the culture war, but I wonder if todays outpouring will draw some sort of recognition tomorrow. If Dan Cathys willing to tout the numbers to Rick Warren, presumably an official acknowledgment and thank you is on the way.
Theres no shortage of local news stories out there about huge lines at the neighborhood CFA; if youre curious, these two, from Iowa and Kentucky, are fairly representative. Meanwhile, I assume some sort of Unappreciation Day is in the works on the left, if only to respond to such an impressive show of strength, but I dont know. Could be that, between this and the thuggish idiocy of Rahm and Mumbles Menino, theyre ready to cut their losses. Exit question: How big a political victory is this for Huckabee? Per this Fox News clip (via Mediaite), even he sounds surprised.
Black eye for the pervs.
Why are we not suprised? I felt this was the case today.
Conservative reaction: Support a thriving business.
Liberal reaction: Destroy whatever conservatives cherish.
Queue opinion pages stating how this is just a conservative temper tantrum and that this moment of support will surely fail as the larger wave of rejection buries the chain...
If the Mainstream Media had bothered to cover this, the MSNBC Klux Klan Liberal Fascists would be wizzing down their legs. But, since they didn’t....
Just left our local CFA. We were given the honor of being the last in line. They wanted to ensure that there was going to be enough food and that they would close by 10. After an hour in line we were informed that they were out of food. The manager could not believe the response. Everyone that didn’t get served all commented that they were coming back tomorrow.
The Mother of All Exploding Cigars. LOL! Liberal freaks crack me up.
Yeah. We had local coverage...
The San Fransisco Fox affiliate KTVU showed a crowded Dallas TX CfA, then had live coverage from the local Fairfield store.
The audio story was that the Fairfield store had to close early despite ordering extra supplies because they simply ran out of food!
The visual was a few shots of the crowded store earlier in the day, and 90% of the time live in a near empty store with an as-an-aside mention that they were closing as soon as these few customers were done.
Normally the store would be open another 5 hours.
Then they cut to the handful of protesters at the not yet open San Jose store.
No bias here, no sirie!
saw this coming.
Go to every 0bama event with a CFA sandwich to hold aloft.
A CFA a day makes 0bama go away.
Chick-fil-A will likely have inventory problems into next week, trying to rebuild stock depleted by today's huge demand.
That's a problem every manager dreams about.
The ones here prepared for the response, but I am sure they were surprised.
The Chik-Fil-A eaters are also active voters. Obama and the Dems and the leftist media has pissed off a lot of people.
It wasn’t looking good for the Dems and now it looks even worse.
Mainstream media didn’t cover this but guranteed they will be covering the pervert kiss fest coming on Friday. The MSM is made up of a bunch of gays that will enjoy watching the kiss fest.
I know a few small business owners who are contemplating “coming out” in favor of same sex marriage.
In a totally unrelated story Ronald McDonald has just joined the NRA.
The refusal to cover this only solidifies the resolve of our side. This isn’t just a repudiation of one thing. IMO. It’s an outpouring of disgust for ALL the lib BS. MSM included.
