I could not get into my local Chick-Fil-A at lunch today—literally.
The left turn lane of the road was backed up with some 30 cars. I got in the right lane, drove past, turned around, and drove into the grocery parking lot next to the Chick-Fil-A. I got out of my car and saw that there was a line of people coming out the door and starting to wind around the building.
Packed would be an understatement.
Sorry you missed out, but it sure was for the right reason! Kuddos for your noble attempt.

Same here. I tried, but with only an hour for lunch, I couldn’t do it.
