Cruz carries almost every large county in the state. Dallas, Harris, Tarrant, Denton, Collin, Lubbock, etc. Dewhurst eeks out a win in . . . . Travis County (Austin, for all you non-texans).

Tea Party, Sarah Palin, and conservative Republican Senators who supported Cruz can rightfully put a notch on their gun tonight!!!!!!
To: BobL
Friend, when the big dog conservative counties report the Cruz victory margin will be between 100,000-150,000 votes. It is also possible that Cruz’s victory margin will surpass the entire votes cast in the Democrat Party. Welcome to the United States Senate, Senator Ted Cruz, Texas-R!!!

It appears to me that about 40% (or even more) of the votes cast were “early” instead of today. Cruz won 53.1% of those.
He is winning about 58.3% of the votes cast today. It seems impossible that trend can continue, but it sure is a huge difference, and ought to squelch any hope that Dewey might have for a late comeback.

The establishment miscalculated badly. Lots of folks are fed up with the LBJ style of Austin politics. I'm ready to do what I can to clean the place out, fumigate, and start over.
66 to 33 is what I call an ass-whoopin.

"Looks like Dewhurst stepped on his own crank with all the negative ads."Absolutely . He would have probably done better had his campaign not placed any ads at all. Massive fail for Dewhurst/Dewhurst campaign.
On to November!
