I went on Cruz’s FB page and congratulated him and cautioned him to not drink the kook-aid when he gets to DC and to remember the Tea Party that sent him there.

The Cruz win this evening was a tremendous feat, accomplishment and victory. Ted Cruz, virtually came out of nowhere, and with guts, focus, determination, drive, but little money, he forced a runoff with Dewhurst in the early primary. His win this evening shows, not only the mood of Texans...but the mood of the vast majority of “all” Americans to defeat Barack Hussein Obama and the entire anti-American Democrat Party.
The defeat of RINO David Dewhurst and the defeat of dignity suffered by not too bright Governor Rick Perry is only scratching the surface as to the impact that will destroy Obama and the Democrat Party this coming November.
Combine this victory tonight with the recent victory of Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin and you get the picture of what’s coming this November. My advice to you is not to listen to any of the Obamabot media. They would not know the reality of the world if it hit them directly in the face. Stay on the blogs, do not heed any polls until after Labor Day!!!
As for Louisiana, under your great Governor, Bobby JIndal, Obama is already toast before one Louisiana vote is cast. You can be certain, not one southern state will vote for Obama. Romney will carry every southern state easily!!! My current prediction is Obama carries only between eight & twelve states, if that many, and loses in a massive landslide defeat!!! I could go on....but it would too long and boring, most likely!!!
RCP now (w/58% counted) has the score at 55.0% to 45.0% - a full ten percent spread!
By the way, who are the other TP candidates who prevailed up and down the TX ticket today?
Lead just went to double digits and still growing! Cruz up by just over 10 points with 58% of the vote in.

Not sure if TP endorsed any down ballot candidates...wish they would've.
In my district we voted for the grass roots conservative vs. local "establishment" RINO for state rep. That's a good thing.

Hopefully all the people who had fits about those of us pointing out Perry’s issues will now take another look at their Governor and MAKE HIM govern like a conservative rather than a crony enabler.
Because Perry was solidly in the Dewhurst camp from everything I’ve read so far.
