Interesting thing about todays election results.
The Number One and the Number Two in Texas State Politics have both been rejected to advancement on the National scene. Perry rejected in the GOP Presidential attempt and Dewhurst rejected in the Senate attempt.

Austin is Politbureau Country isn’t it?

Anyone got the other results?
To: Norm Lenhart
hope he does. I dont know much about him but what I have read is all good stuff. I am just gun shy because the 10 crew was all gung ho too. And that quickly changed. I truly believe he will, and I have been there done that with a congressman who got elected as a Tea Party candidate, and almost immediately became a Boehner butt kisser after he won election. Another thing makes me think Cruz will not bail on us, Mark Levin says he goes back 20 years with Cruz and we have nothing to fear there

Wanna bet that post isn’t being broadcast right now as ‘proof’ of Conservative dissatisfaction’ with the candidate? You just now those idiots are going to scrape the barrel spinning this blowout.

Me too! Glad to see this has gone for Cruz as well.
Apparently there was also some voting for a democrat party item today too. Not sure what it was, don’t care either. But where I was in Denton County I can tell you that there wasn’t much traffic to those tables. On the GOP side, lots of people coming in, steady stream as of 6:30ish.

Since this reflects positively on the Palin/tea party wing, Drudge doesn’t seem very excited about this astounding upset.

Agree...the numbers keep growing for him. A bit nerve-racking at the beginning, but it kept going our way.
A 10 point margin would be a HUGE BLOWOUT and FINALLY, hopefully, sit Perry on his ass.

I don’t go to Drudge’s site anymore since I found out he is part of the GOPe.
To: Bigun
Good thing the tea party is dead. Otherwise this could have been an embarrassing loss...
Oh wait...
To: ansel12
Yep....once he finally posted something, it's "under the fold".
Tsk, tsk Drudge.
Can you say PALIN POWER?

The demise of the TEA Party has been greatly exaggerated...
Ed congrats to you and ALL Texans who voted for Cruz.
Your victory will provide a road map on how to slay RINO’s
for the rest of us. It is an historic victory and a road map, as well. Doesn’t get any better! Savor the moment.
